The time and energy to volunteer is one of the greatest benefits of homeschooling! My kids have done regular beach and mangrove clean-ups, worked at the Special Olympics when it was held here, taken volunteer trips to Nepal, participated in Duke of Edinburgh, helped with research and social media for a museum exhibit, patrolled the beach looking for turtle nests, and more.
