As a multi-cultural family, we have many different cultures to draw our celebrations from. I grew up celebrating Christmas and Thanksgiving with US traditions, but it seemed important to mark Maya’s 15th birthday with a Quinceañera like so many I attended in Mexico. And of course Lebanese food and traditions are a part of any holiday or celebration we have.
